Morgan Miller

Chief Executive Officer & General Partner

Morgan Miller has been investing successfully in collectibles as assets for over 20 years. His track record shows a deep understanding of the diligence, focus and tenacity required for repeated success.

Growing up in a family that invested in art, antiques and auction houses he was able to learn how these industries work at a granular level.

He became a highly accomplished and lauded photographer and director and founded his own New York City based studio and production company. Having spent his early years in branding and events, and then as a photographer and director, he found ways to improve and resolve the substantial inefficiencies and barriers within the various digital channels required for success today. Understanding the value of cohesion, digital /web presence , messaging and curated exposure, he has been able to achieve exceptional results for his clients in a range of industries.

Morgan previously operated as Chief Executive Officer at Honest Media, a bespoke digital agency with headquarters in New York City, and satellites in London, Tokyo, and South Korea.

Yule Georgieva

Chief Operating Officer & General Partner

Yule Georgieva is an experienced business executive whose career has spanned government, aviation, technology, and wine.

With a background in military history, obtained at Stanford and McGill, she originally pursued an academic career before landing in government, working as a key advisor and main speechwriter to the Premier of the Yukon, where she is from. Realizing her passion for business, she switched to the private sector, becoming an internal consultant to the C-Suite of an airline, where she learned all aspects of senior leadership.

While formalizing her financial acumen with an MBA from the University of Toronto, from which she graduated at the top of her class, she dove deeper into her passion for wine investment, developing a model to track the financialization trajectory of different wines. She spent the next four years building a wine cellar management startup as COO, developing the company’s business model, establishing internal processes, and managing a wide portfolio, including marketing, partnerships, and finance.

With a longstanding love of wine, she is a private consultant to select clients, offering cellar management services and curated events. She currently serves as COO of Académie du Vin, a renowned wine education and events company founded by the legendary Steven Spurrier.

Jackson Wittenberg

Head of AI

Jackson Wittenberg is the Head of AI, leading the firm’s strategic initiatives in artificial intelligence and machine learning to unlock new avenues for alpha generation and operational excellence. His expertise lies in developing and deploying proprietary AI infrastructure designed to enhance investment decision-making, optimize due diligence processes, and create measurable efficiencies across Symposium’s portfolio companies. Jackson has a proven ability to translate cutting-edge research in generative models and predictive analytics into high-impact, mission-critical commercial applications within the financial sector.

Prior to joining Symposium, Jackson held senior leadership roles focused on data science and engineering at major technology and quantitative investment firms. Most notably, he served as a Chief Data Scientist, where he directed the build-out of a low-latency predictive analytics platform that managed risk and capital allocation for billions in assets. Jackson holds an M.S. in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from a top-tier university, and his academic work focused on the application of deep learning to complex, multi-variable systems.

Dr. Philippe Masset

Wine Investment

Author, journalist, and consultant, Charles Curtis is a Master of Wine and the former Head of Wine for Christie’s auction house in both Asia and the Americas, with a wealth of experience in the wine and spirit trade. 

He joined Christie’s in 2008 from Moet Hennessy USA, where he was Director of Wine and Spirit Education.  In 2012 he set up his fine wine consultancy WineAlpha to advise on various topics of interest to wine collectors and the trade. 

His first book, The Original Grand Crus of Burgundy, was released in 2014, and the second, Vintage Champagne 1899 – 2019, in 2020.  He is a board member of the Institute of Masters of Wine, North America, and the Appraiser's Association of America. He is a frequent contributor to Decanter magazine and other publications.  

He began his professional career as a chef, training at Le Cordon Bleu, Paris, and apprenticing there at the Crillon Hotel and other restaurants.  He hung up his toque at the age of thirty to pursue a career in wine.

Zachary Frisch is an advisor and private dealer based in New York City. He is the founder of Sixth Sense Advisory. He works with private clients, AD100 interior design firms and a few Artnews Top 200 collections, and a family office. He has loaned works on behalf of his clients to both public and private institutions in the United States and abroad. He is a graduate of George Washington University with a BA of Fine Arts. He lives and works in New York City.

Dr. Roman Kraüssl

Art Investment

Dr. Roman Kräussl is Professor of Finance at Bayes Business School, Visiting Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), and Research Fellow at the Center for Financial Studies (CFS). He studied Economics at the University of Bielefeld and completed his PhD in Financial Economics at the Center for Financial Studies (CFS) at Goethe University, Frankfurt/Main. As Head of Quantitative Research at Cognitrend GmbH, a spin-off from Deutsche Bank specializing in Behavioral Finance, he was closely involved with the financial industry.

His academic research focuses on Alternative Investments, notably art. He has developed proprietary models dealing with valuation of artworks and construction of art market indices, and is a frequent speaker and consultant on the topic. His work has been published in the leading economic journals such as Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, and Management Science, and has been featured in WSJ, FT, Economist, and on CNBC.

Joey Vazquez

Midtown Comics / It’s Alive Comics

Joey has been immersed in the world of comics since 1992 when he and his brother were given boxes of comics for Christmas, and he immediately became enamored with the art.

By 2010 he would be working the retail side of the industry and eventually become the Social Media Manager for a comic book store in Charleston, South Carolina.

Moving to New York City in 2019 to pursue his dream of working in the center of the comic book industry, he started his own company, It's Alive Comics, through which he focused on helping clients source rare, vintage books.

As his reputation for success grew, he was approached by Midtown Comics to come on board as their head of Vintage Acquisitions. He then jump started and rebuilt the entire platform for the company, securing preferential partnerships with Heritage Auctions and CGC Grading, while building new products for the company.

Sergio Zenteno

Midtown Comics

Sergio started his comic book journey in 1986 after receiving a copy of X-men from a classmate. That one book would change his life and become the focus of his entire career.

A graduate of Wesleyan University with a BA in History, he has used this background to develop a keen eye and encyclopedic knowledge that spans from the Golden Age of Comics (40's-50's), Silver Age and into the modern day, making him a highly regarded expert in the field.

In 2005 he began to focus on the retail level working for the largest comic books retailer in the world, Midtown Comics. He progressed within the company to become assistant manager at the Grand Central location, while consulting to other shops, and helmed their warehouse operations.

He is now Supervisor to the back-issue department, one of their top graders, and as of 2022 Assistant Back Issue Buyer for the company, which sees him traveling frequently to close high-level deals.

Karl Paulson Egbert is the global co-chair of the Investment Funds and Derivatives groups and a member of the firm’s Global Financial Services Regulation steering committee.

Stuart Leaf

Advisor | Founder and CEO of Cadogan Management (Fund of Hedge Funds)

After starting his career at Merrill Lynch Capital Markets and Goldman Sachs, Stuart held senior positions in smaller real estate, private equity, and asset management firms, before co-founding Cadogan Management, a Fund of Hedge Funds, in 1994.  Investing around the world in a range of different strategies, including a significant exposure to technology, he and his partners grew the funds to $7.5 billion in assets under management. Cadogan focused on discovering early-stage managers with clearly differentiated investment strategies. Many of the managers evolved into recognized industry leaders.

His holds multiple degrees from Stanford University, graduating with Honors with Distinction in Economics and French before obtaining a Masters in French Literature, as well as an MBA.

Stuart is also a published writer, having co-authored a work on disruptive technologies (Unsupervised: Navigating and Influencing a World Controlled by Powerful New Technologies, John Wiley & Sons 2023) with technology entrepreneur Daniel Doll-Steinberg.

Beyond a few select advisory roles, he currently lectures on wine and technology and is in process of writing two books, one on data and the other on understanding and appreciating old wines and spirits.
